Calamity Battle

Calamities are powerful threats that appear in Guhverse. Enrol your Guhs to fight alongside other players, deal damage every round, and earn rewards when the threat is vanquished.

How It Works

A new Calamity spawns automatically as soon as the previous one is defeated. If no one manages to defeat it, the Calamity expires after a maximum of one week and a new one spawns in its place.

Each Calamity has its own type, name, health pool, and special behaviour. Once you enrol, your entire Guh collection contributes damage automatically every round. You do not need to take any further action.

Enrolling and Withdrawing

  • Enrol: Visit the Calamity Battle page and tap Enrol Guhs. All Guhs in your collection will start dealing damage each round.
  • Withdraw: You can withdraw at any time. Your Guhs will stop dealing damage, but any damage you have already dealt is still recorded.
  • You must be enrolled to earn rewards.

Damage Per Round

Your damage per round is based on the rarity scores of all Guhs in your collection. The exact calculation depends on the Calamity type:

  • Tank: Uses your Guhs’ base rarity scores.
  • Reflection: Reverses rarity power. Common Guhs deal the most damage, while the rarest Guhs are weakened.
  • King Midas: Uses base rarity scores.
  • Echo Chamber: Uses base rarity scores.

Calamity Types

Type Name HP Special Behaviour
Tank The Iron Bastion 1,000,000 Pure endurance. No special tricks.
Reflection The Reflection 750,000 Common Guhs deal the most damage. High-rarity Guhs are weakened.
King Midas King Midas 500,000 Every purchase at the Emporium heals the Calamity by 500 HP.
Echo Chamber The Echo Chamber 900,000 Every 10th round, it heals for 50% of the damage dealt that round.

Rounds and Timing

Damage rounds process automatically every 30 seconds. You can see the current round count, total damage per round, and how many players and Guhs are enrolled on the battle page.

Rewards

When a Calamity is defeated, rewards are distributed to all enrolled players who dealt damage:

  • Victory Guhp: 5,000 base Guhp plus 5% of your total damage dealt.
  • Dark Guhp: 1 Dark Guhp per 10,000 damage dealt. Dark Guhp is awarded in chunks during the battle as you pass each threshold, so you do not have to wait until the end.

If a Calamity expires undefeated, no victory rewards are given. Any Dark Guhp you already earned during the battle is kept.

The Calamity Battle page includes a Past Calamities section. You can browse previous battles, see whether they were defeated or expired, and view their damage leaderboards. Tap any entry to see the full rankings for that battle.

Tips

  • The more Guhs you collect, the more damage you deal per round.
  • During a Reflection, fill your collection with Common Guhs for maximum impact.
  • During King Midas, every Emporium purchase heals the enemy. Plan your shopping carefully.
  • During an Echo Chamber, watch the round counter. The 10th round and every 10th round after that will heal the Calamity.
  • Enrol as early as possible to maximise your total damage and reward potential.
