Skill Trees

Skill Trees are a progression system that lets you customise and enhance your gameplay. Nodes are purchased with Guhvian Crystals — the premium currency earned through Astral Amalgamation.

How Skill Trees Work

  • Skill nodes are organised into five trees: Economy, Summoning, Astral, Calamity, and Automation.
  • Each node has a maximum level (usually 10) and a prerequisite node that must be purchased first.
  • Node prices scale exponentially with each level purchased.
  • Effects stack additively per level within a node.
  • Some effects (like Collective Onslaught) stack globally across all players.

Currency: Guhvian Crystals

Guhvian Crystals are earned exclusively through Astral Amalgamation. The amount you receive depends on the combined rarity score of your sacrificed Guhs and your Crystal Refraction skill level.

Automation

Unlock and improve automated summoning.

Automation unlocks by level:

Level Unlock
1 Time-based automation (summon every N seconds)
2 Guhp percentage boost (spend % of wallet as extra Guhp per summon)
3 Reduced minimum interval (60s instead of 300s)
4 Guhp threshold mode (summon when wallet reaches X Guhp)
5 Reduced cooldown (30s instead of 60s for Guhp mode)

Pricing

Node prices scale with the formula:

Price = basePrice × (priceMultiplier ^ currentLevel)

Most nodes have a base price of 1 crystal. Price multipliers range from 1.5 (Astral nodes) to 2.5 (Collective Onslaught).

  • Resonant Vault and Temporal Drip provide steady, compounding returns on your Guhp economy.
  • Collective Onslaught benefits everyone — even if you do not participate in Calamities, investing helps the community.
  • Plan your summoning tree carefully. Staked Echo is the gateway to all other summoning bonuses.
  • Automation is a quality-of-life feature. Unlock Clockwork Conjurer to summon while you are away.
